Peter Saltonstall has been farming the King Ferry hillside since the early 1990s, making Treleaven one of the longer-established estate operations on the east shore of Cayuga. The dry Riesling has won at the New York State Fair multiple times and consistently places among the top east-shore bottles in comparative tastings. The tasting room terrace faces west across the lake; afternoon light is excellent. On-site restaurant (Farm in the Willows / The Hangtime) serves seasonal food. The estate grows its own fruit entirely, meaning the consistency from vintage to vintage tells you something real about the site rather than blending it out. Open year-round on Route 90 in King Ferry.
