The estate has been producing since 1997 and is one of four boat-accessible wineries on the lake, with dock parking for visitors arriving by water. The portfolio focuses on Riesling and Gewürztraminer, with a Dry Rosé and Cabernet Franc that have developed followings. Sheldrake Point won a Gold Medal at the 2024 New York Wine Classic.
