The Stamp family moved to Lakewood Farm in 1951, started planting grapes the following spring, and have not stopped since. Monty and Beverly Stamp pressed their first vintage in 1988 with their children, opened the winery to the public in June 1989 with seven estate wines, and today the operation spans 80 acres with three generations working the property together. Winemaker Chris Stamp builds the portfolio around a single principle: every wine should have a sense of place. The result is a diverse selection of Finger Lakes wines made entirely from estate-grown fruit. Groups of seven or more require a reservation. Guided tours are available by appointment.
