Thompson Memorial AME Zion Church was built in 1891 and served as Harriet Tubman's church for the last 22 years of her life. Tubman's funeral was held here in 1913. The church was restored to its 1913 appearance by the National Park Service and is open for ranger-guided tours seasonally from May through November, typically Fridays and Saturdays. The building is part of the Harriet Tubman National Historical Park. Check the NPS site for current tour schedule; hours vary year to year.
