The Brown Hound Downtown

The Rochester outpost of the Naples-area Brown Hound operation, serving locally sourced, meat-forward plates in the city.

Finger Lakes Region

The Brown Hound Downtown is the Rochester extension of the Brown Hound operation that began in Naples, bringing the same farm-direct sourcing model to Alexander Street in the city. The restaurant operates as a butcher shop and full-service dining room, with meat-forward plates built from the same regional farms that supply the Naples location. The Rochester format gives city residents access to producers in the Canandaigua and Finger Lakes region without the drive, and gives the farms a second retail market. Open Tuesday through Saturday for lunch and dinner.
