The Skaneateles Historical Society keeps its archives and rotating exhibits inside the restored Creamery, a long, low-slung brick building that processed village dairy through the early 20th century. Exhibits cover Haudenosaunee history, the Skaneateles Community (a mid-1800s utopian settlement), village industry, and a strong sailing and iceboat collection. Volunteer-run. Annual events include the Halloween cemetery tour and the village history walks during Dickens Christmas. Friday and Saturday hours seasonally; verify before visiting.
