Schweinfurth Art Center
Contemporary art gallery on Genesee Street, home of the Made in NY exhibition
The Schweinfurth Art Center was funded by the trust of Auburn-born architect Julius A. Schweinfurth and opened in 1981. The gallery runs a year-round schedule of rotating contemporary exhibitions, with the annual Made in NY juried show and the December Art=Quilt=Art show as signature programming. A gift shop carries work by exhibiting artists. Free parking, modest suggested donation. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
