OSB Ciderworks, short for Original Stump Blower Ciderworks, sits at the north end of Conesus Lake and makes a full range of ciders from New York State apples. Siblings Elise and Eric Smith run the operation, pouring a dozen or more ciders at a time including house staples and small-batch experiments. The Scotch Bonnet, a spicy cider, has developed a cult following among regulars. The taproom stocks local beers, cordials, and non-alcoholic drinks alongside the ciders, plus board games and darts. A second OSB location in downtown Buffalo extends the brand's reach. Dog-friendly, with outdoor seating in summer. Don't miss: a flight of six ciders, and a bottle of Scotch Bonnet to take home.
