Ontario County Park at Gannett Hill occupies the highest terrain on the western ridge between South Bristol and Naples, accessible via Gannett Hill Park Drive off Route 64. The park sits at 2,256 feet, the highest point in Ontario County, and the summit viewpoint on clear days takes in four or five Finger Lakes across the valley system below. The park has several miles of hiking trails, a playground, a primitive camping area with tent sites and cabin rentals, and designated picnic areas. The western ridge road between Bristol Mountain and Gannett Hill is one of the stronger drives in the region for anyone combining the south-end wine trail with outdoor access. Open year-round; no admission fee.
