Onanda Park sits on the western shore of Canandaigua Lake on County Road 16, approximately nine miles south of the city of Canandaigua. The Town of Canandaigua operates the park, which offers a pebble beach with lifeguarded swimming in summer, kayak and small craft launch access, fishing from the shoreline, and hiking trails that climb the wooded hillside above the lake for views down the length of the water. Cabins, pavilions, and a park building are available for seasonal rental, making Onanda a practical base for a multi-day visit to the western shore. Admission fee applies during peak season; open daily from 9 a.m.
