Noble Shepherd Brewery opened in 2016 in a pair of geodesic dome buildings on Route 20A in Bloomfield, between Canandaigua and Honeoye Lakes, next door to the Wizard of Clay pottery shop. Tony Moringello, a former executive chef, is the head brewer; his first batch was a champagne-infused beer he made for a French cooking competition fundraiser that drew more attention than the food. The tap list ranges from NEIPAs and barrel-aged sours to kolsch and stouts. Live music and Thai food from Pad Thai Catering run Friday and Saturday. The Wizard of Clay next door produces custom mugs and steins for the brewery.
