Mid-Lakes Navigation has operated Skaneateles Lake tours since 1968, when Peter Wiles Sr. took over the mail route from Capt. Robert Stinson. The Eberhardt family purchased the company from the Wiles family in 2020. Tours depart from the Clift Park dock on the 65-foot Judge Ben Wiles (built at the Borodino Boat Works in 1985) and the 36-passenger mailboat. Options run from one-hour sightseeing cruises through three-hour mailboat trips that follow the daily lake-mail delivery route. Season runs mid-May through mid-October.
