Long Point State Park occupies the east shore just south of Aurora: free public boat launch, dock access, picnic tables, swimming beach, and a bathhouse. The park is on a V-shaped spit of land extending into the lake. It is the closest public-access waterfront to the Inns of Aurora and the Aurora wine trail cluster. The park also has a lakeside cottage rentable for overnight stays. Good fishing access for smallmouth bass and trout. Open year-round.
