Knapp Winery has been farming the west shore outside Romulus for over 40 years, building a reputation for Cabernet Franc and Riesling that holds up in competitive tastings. The on-site restaurant, Field & Vine, is open seasonally and pairs farm-sourced cooking directly with the estate wines. Knapp is also known for wine-and-chocolate pairings, which function as one of the more popular afternoon experiences on the trail. Between the Lakes BBQ operates adjacent to the winery for outdoor dining. One of the most complete stops on the Route 89 loop.
