The Ithaca Farmers Market has operated at Steamboat Landing since 1975 on a strict producers-only rule: if you sell it at the market, you grew it, raised it, or made it within 30 miles of the pavilion. Over 130 vendors across two market days offer produce, meat, dairy, bread, prepared food, and craft goods with Cayuga Lake visible from every stall. Saturday market is the larger; Sunday is calmer. The Cayuga Waterfront Trail runs directly to the market from Cass Park. Come before 9am on Saturday if you want parking without a negotiation.
