Finger Lakes Boating Museum

115 boats and a restoration workshop open to visitors, in the former Taylor Wine Company headquarters.

Steuben County

The Finger Lakes Boating Museum took possession of the former Taylor Wine Company buildings at 8231 Pleasant Valley Road in Hammondsport and converted them into a museum housing 115 boats and a working restoration shop. The collection includes the Pat II, a 1924 mail boat undergoing restoration and operating as a tour vessel on Keuka Lake seasonally. Exhibits cover Keuka’s 19th-century steamboat era, the region’s boat-building tradition, and the evolution from working vessels to leisure craft. Path Through History site. Admission charged; restoration shop open to visitors at no cost. Adjacent to Pleasant Valley Wine Company.
