Fillmore Glen State Park sits a mile south of Moravia at 1686 NY-38. The main gorge trail runs along Dry Creek past five waterfalls, the tallest being the 40-foot upper falls and the most photographed being the 30-foot Cow Sheds Falls near the gorge entrance. CCC masonry from 1934 to 1938 supports the trail stairs and bridges. The park includes 60 campsites, four cabins, three rentable pavilions, and a stream-fed swimming pool that opens late June through Labor Day. A replica of Millard Fillmore's 1800 birthplace cabin stands at the entrance; the actual birthplace marker is in Summerhill, five miles away. Gorge trails close late November. Day-use fee.
