The Charlie Major Nature Trail is a flat, paved rail-trail that follows a disused short-line railroad corridor from the village's north edge into the woods and across three wooden bridges. About a mile each way. Good for strollers, wheelchairs, and visitors with mobility limits. The trail parallels Skaneateles Creek and is named for the village resident who championed its preservation. Good spring and fall walking; mosquitos pick up in midsummer.
