Casa Larga Vineyards sits on the northern end of the Canandaigua Lake Wine Trail, just outside Rochester in Fairport. The Colaruotolo family founded the estate in 1978 and has built a 40-year production record anchored by vinifera varieties including Riesling, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Franc. The tasting room operates in a vineyard campus setting with views of the surrounding estate. Casa Larga's ice wine program is one of the most established in the Finger Lakes, using deep-winter harvest and cold-concentration to produce a dessert wine that has received consistent recognition. The property also functions as a wedding and event venue with a ballroom and ceremony spaces. Open daily; a practical first or last stop when combining the trail with Ganondagan State Historic Site five miles east.
