Burdett

Burdett is perched on the east-shore bluff where the vineyards begin in earnest. Hector Falls drops into view from the road, a pull-over waterfall visible from Route 414, with the lower cascades visible from the lake. Atwater Vineyards is here, with lake views and a reliable Riesling program. Two Goats Brewing and Finger Lakes Distilling are both in Burdett, making it the most complete stop for non-wine drinkers on the east shore. Hillick & Hobbs Estate produces some of the most precise small-production Riesling on this side of the lake.
